Registration

Online registration has been closed. On-site registration will be available at the conference venue throughout the conference.

All presenters must register and pay the registration fee by June 15, 2017 in order to attend and present at the symposium.
Please note that presenters have to have abstract submission and get Submission No. before registration.

Member or non-member of ISHS

The participant (ISHS member or ISHS non-member) fee includes one copy of Acta Horticulturae (Proceedings) that is published after symposium. The fee also includes a Welcome Reception (Sunday evening; August 27), Lunch, Morning and afternoon refreshments during the symposium, and an Excursion (Tuesday afternoon, August 29). The fee for the Farewell Dinner (Wednesday evening, August 30) will be paid by participants.

The student (ISHS member or ISHS non-member) fee includes all of the above, but students will not receive a copy of Acta Horticulturae. Student status is confirmed by the certificate. Please upload a copy of the certificate confirming student status through the registration system.

The accompanying person fee includes a Welcome Reception (Sunday evening, August 27) and an Excursion (Tuesday afternoon, August 29). Colleagues cannot participate in the symposium by this fee.

The one-day registration fee includes participation in the symposium for one day, Lunch and Morning and afternoon refreshments for the participating day. This fee does not include the Welcome Reception, Excursion, or a copy of Acta Horticulturae. Presenters at the symposium cannot select this fee.

Excursion

Application for Excursion will be online (pre) registration ONLY.
Please note that Onsite application for Excursion is NOT possible.
Application for “Packing House and Orchard of Japanese Pear” have reached maximum enrollment as of June 14, 2017.

Payment must be made in Japanese yen and can be made by one of the following methods:

Payment Confirmation

If you have paid the registration fee by credit card, Payment confirmation will be sent to the registered e-mail address automatically.
If you pay the fee by bank transfer, a reply e-mail with bank information will be sent to the registered e-mail address. After confirming your payment, Payment confirmation will be sent by the Registration Office.
Please print out the Payment Confirmation e-mail and present at the registration desk to receive the Symposium materials and a printed receipt.

Please apply at the time of online registration.

Registration Cancellation and Refunds

If you cancel your participation in the symposium, please be sure to notify the Registration Office by e-mail immediately. The following cancellation fee will apply, based on the date when the office receives notification of cancellation. All refunds will be made after the symposium. If the refund is made by bank transfer, bank transfer fee will be deducted from the amount to be paid back.
